Stonehill College

College libraries are meant as a quiet space for students to study and further their own education. However at Stonehill College, dependent on the day, it could also mean listening to a sporting event live while reading.

The College’s W.B. Mason Stadium is in the heart of Stonehill’s beautiful campus with housing directly behind the stadium and the home side of the stadium directly facing the College’s library. And, when a sporting event took place, you could hear every play inside the library. However, thanks to the pattern control from Danley Sound Labs loudspeakers and subwoofers, East West Associates was able to install a new system that allowed the stadium’s game day experience to remain in the stadium.

The installation went so well that Danley products were installed in a variety of facilities across campus.

Keeping the Experience on the Field

Many schools choose to utilize loudspeakers and subwoofers that are all in the scoreboard and some even with little to no pattern control. It’s similar to setting off an “acoustic hand grenade” with audio signals moving in all directions. Danley Sound Labs loudspeakers allow for managed pattern control, so that your audio remains where it belongs, with your fans and your audience.
